As a (very) veteran CrossFitter for over 7 years I've seen a box or two. Grand Trunk Crossfit is the most family friendly, member-driven organization I've visited. I'm from out of town, so dropping in can be a little intimidating considering the fact that I'm showing up alone and knowing no one. However, both Diana and Brooklyn welcomed me with open arms as we chatted about our experiences and kiddos (They have four of their own! Unreal...I am in total awe...). The WOD was the 12 Days of Christmas - always a "crowdpleaser" (juuuust kidding) - and the group there was large, but everyone found a place for themselves to work and get it done efficiently. All the members were courteous of one another, including me as the visitor, and I had some great chats with some members following the workout. Thanks, Diana and Brooklyn, for cultivating a community of kindness and welcoming feels!!
